Muscat – Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed al Hajri, Governor of Dakhliyah, has announced the signing of four agreements worth over RO4mn on Monday to boost development projects across the governorate.

These agreements reflect a concerted effort to advance development and service initiatives in the governorate, ultimately supporting the tourism and economic sectors.

Among the noteworthy projects is the construction of Nizwa Public Park spread over 150,000sqm. Agreements were also inked to develop sites in Harat al Aqr in Nizwa, including paving corridors of the harat and enhancing service provisions.

In a bid to improve infrastructure and enhance road safety, an agreement was signed to supply and instal lighting on Adam-Sinaw Road, covering an initial phase of 13.5km. Utilising cutting-edge energy-saving technologies, this project aims to optimise road visibility and ensure traveller safety.

Additionally, an agreement was finalised for procurement and installation of anti-virus software for information systems, underscoring the commitment to bolster cybersecurity measures and safeguard critical data infrastructure.
