Muscat – Oman Airports signed two agreements on Thursday to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operate commercial activities at Muscat International Airport.

The agreements aim to enhance the commercial presence of SMEs at Muscat International Airport, marking a crucial move to integrate local businesses into the global marketplace.

In a statement, Oman Airports said, ‘This initiative aligns with the national drive to develop the SME sector in recognition of its significant economic and social impacts.’

The agreements were signed by Sheikh Aimen Ahmed al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, the executive management team of Oman Airports, and representatives of Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development with the owners of two SMEs.

The agreements are part of Oman Airports’ ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for SMEs to offer their services at airports in the sultanate. The initiative underscores Oman Airports’ dedication to fostering the growth of local businesses and integrating them into the broader economic framework.
