Muscat – Oman’s budget airline SalamAir has announced the appointment of Adrian Hamilton-Manns as its new chief executive officer.
With a career spanning over eight years as a CEO in the aviation sector, Hamilton-Manns is set to bring a wealth of experience and a fresh strategic vision to the airline.
Hamilton-Manns’ appointment marks a significant phase for SalamAir, as the airline seeks to expand its horizons and enhance operational efficiencies. His career spans 28 years in aviation executive management, with a notable 14 years dedicated to the low-cost airline industry.
His previous roles at renowned airlines such as South African Airways, Virgin Australia and FlyArystan highlight his capability to drive significant growth in challenging market environments.
‘We are confident that his leadership will propel our company towards greater success and provide greater value to our customers and partners,’ the airline stated.
The SalamAir Board expressed confidence in Hamilton-Manns’ leadership, noting that his strategic insight and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to lead the airline into its next phase.
The board also extended gratitude to Capt Ahmed al Shidhani for his contributions during his tenure as acting CEO and ensuring a seamless transition.
