Cairo, Muscat – Honourable Lady Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamed al Busaidi, Spouse of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, paid a visit to Egyptian Opera House in the City of Arts and Culture in the new administrative capital in Cairo and the Grand Mosque on Friday. She was accompanied by Entisaar el Sisi, Spouse of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi.

The Hon’ble Lady expressed her great admiration for the Islamic edifice and its striking design inspired by the style of Egyptian architecture of the Mamluk era, stressing its prominent role in consolidating the city’s identity and promoting the values of peace and tolerance.

The Hon’ble Lady began a visit of Egypt on Thursday.
