Buraimi – Buraimi Governor’s Office has floated four tenders for projects aimed at promoting the development of the governorate.

Giving details of the tenders, an official from Buraimi Governor’s Office informed that the first tender entails completion of a project to construct parking facilities near Buraimi Public Park and incorporating additional green spaces and open areas.

The second tender involves drilling nine wells at various sites across the governorate – five in the wilayat of Buraimi, two in Mahdha, one in the niyabat of Hafeet and one in Sunaina. All wells will be of 120m depth.

The third tender is for renovation of the main street stretching from Al Nahda Roundabout to Al Salam Roundabout in the wilayat of Buraimi. This project aligns with the governorate’s urban development plan and includes the creation of green spaces, seating areas, pedestrian walkways, open plazas and public restroom facilities.

The fourth tender will see the laying of a sports field, and maintenance and enhancement of Buraimi Public Park. This project involves the construction of a prayer hall for women, a playground for children, and upkeep of the park’s water fountain.

Bids submission ends on April 9.
