Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik exchanged cables of greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.

In his cables, His Majesty the Sultan conveyed his sincere sentiments and his best wishes of good health, happiness and long life to them. His Majesty also wished their people further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty prayed to the Almighty Allah to bestow his blessings on all Muslims, wishing that it would be a month of security and harmony.

In their cables, the leaders expressed their sincere greetings and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan. They also wished the Omani people fulfilment of their aspirations of progress and prosperity. They prayed to the Almighty Allah for the return of this occasion on His Majesty, the Omani people and the Arab and Muslim nations with glory and prosperity.

His Majesty the Sultan also exchanged greetings in a telephonic call with King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of Bahrain on the advent of Ramadan.
