Muscat – Nine people were rescued from a sinking boat near Ghubra beach in the wilayat of Bausher, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) stated on Sunday.

In a statement issued by CDAA said, ‘The water rescue team of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat governorate, along with the Police Aviation, responded to a commercial boat sinking incident near Ghubrah beach. All nine crew members were rescued and are reported to be in good condition.’
