Muscat – To support families with limited income during Ramadan, Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO) has distributed 35,000 vouchers.

An OCO official said, “The organisation has completed distribution of coupons for the Iftar Programme for this Ramadan. We cooperated with social development committees in wilayats to distribute vouchers to more than 35,000 social security families and people with limited income.”

The official added, “Such initiatives play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community, empathy and support, particularly during special occasions like Ramadan. These  contribute significantly to upholding the spirit of giving and compassion, creating a positive impact on the lives of those in need.”

Individuals wishing to donate can do so via the sultanate’s one-stop donations portal jood.om, the official informed.

It is a common e-platform created to serve donors, charitable associations and societies in Oman, replacing the earlier donations portal donate.om

jood.om brings together all charitable associations and societies to one platform, allowing individuals and institutions to donate electronically through secure payment channels.
