Muscat – Oman Embassy in Jakarta has informed Omanis wishing to visit Indonesia that a tax will be imposed on foreign tourists.

A statement issued by Oman Embassy in Jakarta said, ‘The Embassy would like to inform Omani citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Indonesia that the Bali Provincial Government will impose a tax on foreign tourists to the tune of 150,000 rupees, equivalent to US$10.’

Holders of diplomatic and official visas, transport vehicle crew members, holders of temporary residence cards or permanent residence cards, reunification visa holders, student visa holders and golden visa holders will be exempt from the tax, it stated.
