Muscat – One person died and another was injured in a fire that broke out in a house in the Wilayat of Barak, on Thursday, according to the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).

In a statement, CDAA said, ‘The firefighting and ambulance teams in in South Batinah governorate responded to a call of a fire in a house in the Wilayat of Barak, in which one person died while another received minor injuries.’

The injured person was transferred to a hospital for necessary treatment, it added.
