Muscat – H H Sayyid Fahd Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Council of Ministers, received Dr Tawfiq Fawzan al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), on Tuesday.
At the outset of the meeting, Rabiah conveyed greetings of the leadership in KSA and their best wishes of progress and prosperity to the Omani leadership and people.
H H Sayyid Fahd then reviewed the march of the advance relations between Oman and KSA, as well as means of boosting these relations.
H H Sayyid Fahd also lauded the efforts exerted by KSA in serving pilgrims and providing the best services to them.
Further, the meeting discussed bilateral cooperation in various sectors, besides matters related to the Islamic world and the stability of its nations.
Additionally, the two sides reviewed regional and international developments and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Rabiah underlined the depth of relations between the two countries and said his visit paves the way for further talks with officials in Oman on all matters that can boost fraternal joint relations.
The meeting was attended by H E Dr Mohammed Said al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
