Muscat – The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) on Monday has appealed to people to donate urgently due a severe shortage of blood stocks.

A statement issued by DBBS said, ‘We urge blood donors to donate blood as soon as possible at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher in order to meet the demands of medical institutions for blood units.’

People can donate blood from 8am to 8pm, from Saturday to Thursday, and from 3pm to 8pm on Friday. Appointments can be made through WhatsApp – 94555648, or by dialing 24591255 or 2494255.
