Muscat – Four young golfers were treated to an exclusive golf clinic conducted by international golfer Ben Stow at Al Mouj Golf on Wednesday. The programme, aimed at nurturing emerging talents, saw two Under-13 category golfers, and one each from the Under-15 and Under-18 categories.
Speaking during the event, Mundhir al Barwani, Chairman of Oman Golf Association, said, “Stow’s experience and guidance provides these young players with a unique opportunity to learn from one of the best in the sport, setting them on a path towards excellence. His invaluable experience will undoubtedly shape the future of Omani golf.”
According to Barwani, Stow’s involvement in the programme not only shows his commitment to nurturing young talent but also highlights the global appeal of Oman as a golfing destination.
Having visited Oman multiple times, including participation in a weekend golf tournament recently, Stow praised Omani children’s keen interest in the sport and the country’s golf courses.
“The passion and dedication I see in Omani children is truly inspiring. The golf courses here are of exceptional quality, offering a fantastic environment for these budding talents to hone their skills. Oman has a bright future in golf, and I’m delighted to be a part of their journey,” Stow said.
