Muscat – To avoid any potential traffic congestion, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has prohibited movement of trucks on on specific days.

In a statement issued by ROP said, ‘The Directorate General of Traffic announces that movement of trucks are not permitted on Tuesday, November 21 from 12pm 4pm, and on Saturday, November 25 from 6pm to 10pm.  The restriction applies to Dakhliyah Road (Muscat – Bidbid Bridge), and Batinah Highway (Muscat – Shinas).

Royal Oman Police urges all truck drivers to comply with the above-mentioned instructions for their safety and the safety of road users.
