Muscat – Oman will receive moderate to heavy rains due to a low pressure from Thursday, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

In a statement, CAA said, ‘Preliminary indications suggest that the atmosphere in the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a depression starting from November 16.’

Meanwhile, rainfall is expected in Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates starting today till November 15.’

CAA advised all to be cautious during rains and near over flowing wadis, and to check the state of the sea before sailing.

‘Motorists should be careful when driving on wet roads to avoid losing control and skidding.’
