Muscat – In the backdrop of mounting tensions and the persistent humanitarian crisis in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip, Arab and Islamic countries are preparing to hold two emergency summits.

At the request of the State of Palestine and Saudi Arabia, Arab League has decided to hold an emergency Arab Summit on November 11 in Riyadh to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip, escalation of Israeli military operations, steps to be taken for the Palestinian cause in general and Arab action needed to put an end to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967.

The second will be an Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) emergency summit on November 12, also in Riyadh, to discuss Israel’s continued aggression in Gaza for 32 days in a row.
