Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested four expatriates on Thursday for smuggling large quantities of drugs into Oman.

A statement issued by the ROP said, ‘South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested four people of Asian nationality in possession of more than 80kgs of crystal narcotics, hashish, and a quantity of psychotropic substances.’

‘Legal procedures have been completed against them,’ it stated.
