Muscat – While Tej has degraded into Cat 2 tropical cyclone, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) is continuing its efforts to ensure availability of food in Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates.

A statement by MoCIIP said, ‘The ministry is actively checking the availability of all goods and food items in the markets and commercial centers across Dhofar and Al Wusta.’

The ministry assures that it is well prepared to supply all essential consumer goods, food items, and an adequate quantity of fuel products in the local markets and warehouses in Dhofar and Al Wusta, in the wake of Cyclone Tej.
