Muscat – BSC U16 A defeated BSC U16 B by 253 runs in the U16 Academies Junior League 2023-24 powered by Mazoon Dairy SAOG in the Municipality Grounds in Amerat on Saturday.

Skipper and opener Nimish Dhuri scored a double century (202) in 105 balls as BSC U16 A amassed 332 runs in 30 overs. Tharun Mahesh scored a 37-ball 54 in the slog overs. In response, BSC U16 B were bundled out for 79 with Naushad Manaz and Vivikta Dande taking two wickets each.

MCCC Blue U16 thumped MCCC Red U16 by 162 runs in another match.

MCCC Blue got off to a superb start with Abdul Muqsith scoring a half century. Vihaan Sanjay Chauhan then took control and scored a superb 165 (95). Kartikeya Gupta (42 off 23) also pitched in as MCCC Blue U16 made 320 in 30 overs. In response, Ishva P, Shrivatsa V and Ayaan Adil all scored in thirties but MCCC Red’s innings ended at 158 in 30 overs. Kartikeya Gupta picked 2 wickets.
