Muscat – With an aim to offer enhanced recreational facilities, South Sharqiyah Municipality is inviting bids for investment in development projects in the governorate.

The projects are part of the Governorate Development Plan in which each governorate has been allocated RO20mn for the 2021-2025 Five-Year Plan serving as incentive for competitiveness and economic growth.

In Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, the municipality is inviting bids for development of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali Park, Qarun Beach Park and a park in the Falaj al Mashayikh area.

In Al Kamil Wa al Wafi, bids are invited for the development of tourist areas in the Al Hira and Siq areas.

Bids are also invited to design and implement the waterfront in Shaanzi area and construct drainage channels in the Ras Halaf area of the wilayat of Masirah.

The last date for submission of bids is October 19.

Governorate officials have also confirmed that three dams for groundwater recharge will be constructed in the wilayats of Al Kamil Wa al Wafi, Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan and Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.
