Muscat – The draw for the Oman Corporate League (OCL) in its third edition took place on Sunday at Qantab Hall in Al Bustan Palace, with the participation of 26 teams from companies operating in the Sultanate across various sectors.

The draw ceremony was held under the patronage of Ahmed bin Mohammed al Humaidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, along with Mr Walid al Obaidani, President of the International Socca Federation in the Middle East, and several sports figures and representatives of participating companies.

The participating teams were divided into eight groups in categories A and B. The team that wins the Championship (category A) will qualify to participate in the International Socca Championship in Mexico early next year, organised and supervised by the sport makers.

The tournament is set to commence on Sunday, October 22, at the PDO Stadium.

It is worth noting that the PDO team secured the OCL championship title in the previous two editions, earning them the opportunity to represent the Sultanate of Oman in the Socca World Cups.
