Muscat – Following the spectacular premiere of The Barber of Seville, Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) has released its schedule of performances set for October.

The opera house invites patrons on October 11 and 12 at 7 pm to witness the magnetic jazz fusion of the duo Igor Butman and Randy Brecker, backed by a sextet of remarkable jazz talents. ‘Dive into a world of mesmerising jazz that promises to uplift your spirits,’ it stated.

Majida el Roumi

On October 17, ROHM will commemorate Omani Women’s Day, celebrating women’s exceptional contributions across various fields.

Majida el Roumi will take the limelight, accompanied by the talented Al Nour Wal Amal Orchestra of visually impaired young women, Morocco’s gifted pianist Nour Ayadi and ROSO’s trailblazing Ladies’ Ensemble.

Following that, Majida will grace the stage on consecutive nights, serenading fans with her cherished songs, infused with themes of hope, unity and affection.

‘To cap off October, prepare to be dazzled by the Xi’An Acrobatic Troupe of China. Watch as they reinterpret Swan Lake, merging the timeless grace of Tchaikovsky’s music with the vivid tapestry of Chinese culture.’

The acrobatic ballet, especially the ‘en pointe’ performance atop another dancer’s head, is bound to enchant audiences. ‘Attend on October 26 or 28 with options for evening or matinee shows.’
