Muscat – The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed to people with B+ blood types to donate urgently due a severe shortage of bloodstock.

A statement issued by DBBS said, ‘We would like to draw attention to the fact that many patients require blood daily. We appeal to you to donate at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher.’

People can donate blood from 8am to 8pm from Saturday to Thursday, and from 8am to 2pm on Friday. Appointments can be made through WhatsApp 94555648, or by calling 24591255 or 24594255.
