Muscat – The Ministry of Economy will organise a media meeting at the Ministry’s General Office for the year 2023 on Monday.

This initiative aligns with the ministry’s commitment to enhancing transparency and communication with society, informing the public about its programmes, projects, and initiatives, and providing an opportunity to discuss topics related to economic affairs.

The meeting is sponsored by H E Dr Saeed bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and will be attended by numerous academics, media representatives, experts in economic affairs, as well as economic columnists and university students specialising in economics.

The meeting will discuss the prospects and trends outlined in the World Economic Report and the performance of the Omani economy, the executive position of the tenth five-year development plan, and the programs and initiatives of the Ministry of Economy’s programmes and initiatives in the fields of development planning, development policies and programmes, studies and research. Additionally, topics such as competitiveness, behavioral economics, provincial development, and international economic cooperation will also be addressed.
