Muscat – The National Subsidy System on Monday denied the rumor regarding the discontinuation of government fuel subsidies for beneficiaries.

In a notice issued online by National Subsidy System stated, ‘There is no truth to what has been circulated about lifting government fuel subsidies for the beneficiaries; the subsidy remains unchanged. Some systems experienced technical issues, which were promptly addressed.’

The government is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the subsidy programme. For any questions, inquiries, or assistance with technical problems, the National Support System call center is available at 24174000, it added.
