Muscat – The Royal Oman Police has arrested two people of Asian nationality on charges of vandalism and theft of solar panels on Wednesday.

In a statement issued by ROP said, ‘The Oil and Gas Facilities Security Police Command arrested two people of Asian nationality on charges of vandalism and theft of solar panels to generate electric power from one of the communication towers in the Marmul oil area in Dhofar governorate.’

Legal procedures have been taken against them, it added.
