Muscat – The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has launched an awareness exhibition in Dhofar governorate on Sunday, aligning with the khareef Dhofar activities.

This exhibition builds on ongoing awareness initiatives for the year, aiming to promote a preventive culture against risks associated with defence work through various methods. The exhibition will run until August 10.

The exhibition is being held in Salalah Gardens Mall under the patronage of Dr Abdullah bin Ali al Amri, Chairman of Environment Authority.

The exhibition displays equipment and mechanisms used by CDAA to manage different types of communication. It also features information about safely landing from tall buildings and other exhibits about land and water rescue operations, including hazardous materials.

The authority has a special area for teaching how to use fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and giving basic medical help. Additionally, there’s a fun interactive section for children.
