Muscat – As part of the activities of Khareef Dhofar 2023, Taiseer – Oman Trading Platform will organise ‘Bloom Hawana Salalah’ or Festival of Flowers and Life from July 27 to August 11 in Hawana Salalah.
The festival is expected to attract approximately 10,000 visitors a day, according to organisers. ‘It aims to provide an immersive and unforgettable experience that combines creativity and entertainment in a delightful environment, in addition to spreading awareness about environment preservation and sustainability, which will be reflected in the festival through various events and activities,’ a press release said.
The festival will include a mini-exhibition of plants that grow in Dhofar, presented by be’ah. Talented Omani youth will add a distinctive touch and enrich the festival across the event sites by playing music, painting, staging street theatre and engaging in other artistic activities.
The festival will also feature Bloom challenge corners for families, youth and children available for free for fun and entertainment.
The festival’s fun and exciting games, in addition to a mini corner for birds and pets, will complement the festival’s agenda.
Other attractions include educational workshops, talent shows, a garden featuring rare plants and a tropical food area.
