Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on Tuesday, dealing with bilateral relations between the two countries.

The message was received by Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, during his meeting with the Mauritanian President’s envoy Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr and the Mauritanian envoy discussed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries’ peoples. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
