Muscat – An inaugural summer school programme dedicated to training staff from higher education institutions across the sultanate was launched in Salalah on Sunday.

Organised by Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), the five-day event, themed ‘Designing for Hybrid Learning & Competency-Based Education’, commenced at the Salalah Rotana Resort.

The opening ceremony was graced by Ahmed bin Mohsen al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality. The event highlights include intensive workshops on hybrid learning and competency-based education. The goal is to equip faculty with the tools needed to deliver quality education, efficiently and effectively.
