Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) has started a campaign called 1,000 first aids to raise health awareness in communities. Through the campaign, the Directorate General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate aims to conduct training workshops from July 2 to 13 in various locations across Amerat.
The training workshops will take place at Nujum al Amerat Mall, Amerat Sports and Cultural Club, Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centre for People with Disabilities, Omani Women’s Association, and Office of the Wali of Amerat.
The primary objective of the campaign is to educate community members about first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to equip them with life-saving skills.
The campaign targets multiple groups within communities, including mothers, children, teachers, workers, students and the Scouts. By imparting essential first aid and CPR knowledge, the campaign will empower community members to respond effectively in critical situations.
The campaign is a crucial step in spreading health awareness and building communities that are well prepared to handle emergencies.
