Muscat – The Ministry of Labour (MoL) in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested several men and women for violating public morals in Muscat governorate on Saturday.

In a statement, MoL said, ‘The ministry in cooperation with ROP conducted an inspection campaign in Muscat governorate in private homes where unlicensed and immoral businesses were practised. In the raids, 39 workers were arrested for violating the provisions of the Labor Law.’

Legal procedures are being completed against them, it added.
