Muscat – The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has seized counterfeit car parts in North Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued by CPA said, ‘The Directorate General of Consumer Protection in North Batinah seized a store that was selling counterfeit car parts, such as vehicle oil filters and spark plugs that were packaged in original branded boxes.’

CPA called on consumers to report any suspected practices and also urged suppliers to comply with consumer protection laws and regulations.
