Muscat – As many as 12 infiltrators were arrested for attempting to enter the sultanate illegally, Royal Oman Police announced on Wednesday.

In a statement, ROP said, ‘Coast Guard Police in Dhofar arrested 12 infiltrators of Arab nationality in the Omani territorial waters while they were trying to enter the country illegally.’

It added that legal procedures have been completed against them.
