In a statement, TRA said, ‘The trial will begin in the wilayats of Sur, Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Jalan Bani Bu Hasan and Masirah in South Sharqiyah on May 15, in the wilayats of Seeb, Bausher, Muttrah, and Quriyat in Muscat on May 16, and the wilayats of Salalah, Taqah, Mirbat, Rakhyut, Dhalkhut, Shaleem and Hallaniyat Islands and Sadah in Dhofar on May 17.’

TRA stressed that the trials will continue in North Batinah on June 13, followed by South Batinah on June 14 and Musandam on June 15.

In the trial, warning messages of emergency will be sent to Omantel and Ooredoo subscribers.
