Muscat – As part of its efforts to monitor markets before Eid al Fitr, Salim bin Ali al Hakmani, Chairman of Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), visited on Tuesday the governorates of Dhahirah and Dakhliyah.

The visit was to ensure the availability of goods, price stability, and the suppliers’ compliance with laws in the two governorates.

A statement issued by CPA said, ‘During the visit, Hakmani met with the suppliers and appealed to adhere to the laws, regulations and systems in force with regard to consumer protection. He also met with a number of consumers and listened to their observations and suggestions to increase the efficiency of the authority’s performance during the coming period.’
