Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) reviewed the investment environment in the governorates during a virtual meeting led by H E Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, on Sunday.

The meeting with the governors aimed to closely examine the investment opportunities available in the governorates, and the challenges they face. It also discussed the involvement of local companies and sectors in contributing to the development of the governorates.

The meeting was held within the framework of joint efforts and coordination among relevant entities and all governorates to achieve decentralisation, which will contribute to enhancing the national economy and promote it.

In addition, it aimed to involve the governors in the decision-making processes and regulations that the ministry is working on, and to understand their vision for developing their governorates as integrated economic destinations.
