Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has seized large quantities of alcoholic beverages in the wilayat of Muttrah in Muscat governorate.

A statement issued by Oman Customs said, ‘The Department of Investigation and Risk Assessment raided a site belonging to expat workers in the wilayat of Muttrah and seized 3,700 bottles and cans of alcoholic beverages that were stored for the purpose of selling.’

Legal measures against them have been initiated.
