Muscat – Bait al Zubair is running a photography exhibition ‘Religious Architecture, Geometry and the Spiritual meaning’ by Mohammed al Zubair, celebrating spirituality and humanity.
The photographs capture stunning images of mosques, churches, temples, stupas, synagogues and other places of worship from various cultures.
The exhibition opened on Monday and will continue to be on display until May 4.
Speaking about the unique photo exhibition, Mohammed al Zubair said, “In his diligent search for truth, man expressed his love for his creator through various means like the pillars, minarets etc. The forms of architectural spiritual expression have varied and multiplied with the diversity of the laws, methods, approaches and paths taken by humanity.”
The event was unveiled under the auspices of H E Mohammed Said Khalfan al Mamari, Minister of Endowments and religious Affairs and H E Sayyid Badr al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. Other guests included Dr Abdulmunim Mansoor al Hasani, former Minister of Information, and Malik bin Sulaiman al Mamari, former Inspector General of Police and Customs.
