Muscat – The Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) announced that it has registered more than 1,440 violations of transporting passengers without a licence by expatriate workers.

A statement issued by MTCIT said, ‘The ministry also registered 546 violations of transporting and delivering goods without a licence by expatriate workers which is in violation of the Land Transport Law issued by Royal Decree No 10/2016 and its regulations.’

The ministry called on companies and individuals to adhere to the Land Transport Law. The ministry also confirmed that it will continue to implement its inspection and control campaigns on vehicles to ensure compliance with the Land Transport Law and its executive regulations.
