Muscat – The Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) and Khimji Ramdas signed two agreements on Thursday – to provide 10,000 food baskets to needy families and to support the Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children.

A statement issued by MoSD said, ‘The first agreement aims to distribute 10,000 food baskets during Ramadan in several governorates through social development committees and charitable teams.

‘The second agreement will restore the facilities of Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children in the wilayat of Dima Wa al Taien, North Sharqiyah and provide 20 medical chairs for its children.’

Under the agreement, a space for the children’s entertainment will also be set up at the centre.
