Muscat – The Ministry of Education signed a cooperation agreement with Asyad Ports to finance purchase of interactive screens for several schools in Suwaiq, North Batinah on Sunday.
H E Majid bin Said al Bahri, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the ministry, attended the agreement signing.
The agreement was signed by Dr Waleed bin Talib al Hashemi, Director General of Directorate General of Education in North Batinah Governorate, and Faisal bin Ali al Balushi, Director General of Commercial Affairs in Asyad Ports.
On the occasion, Hashemi said, “Signing of this agreement is realisation of the partnership between the Directorate General of Education in North Batinah and the private sector, which will enhance teaching facilities in schools, and support modern educational methods in line with Oman Vision 2040.”
On his part, Balushi said, “This partnership with the education sector is part of the company’s mission to serve the community for its advancement. It’s a pleasure to provide this support to the Directorate General of Education in North Batinah, and we hope that this partnership achieves the goals and visions it was set for, the most important of which is the development and enhancement of students’ abilities and the educational process.”
