Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) signed an agreement with Al Baraka Oilfield Services Company for provision of an ambulance for Shalim Hospital in the wilayat of Shalim and Hallaniyat Islands on Wednesday.

The agreement was signed by H E Dr Fatma bint Mohammed al Ajmi, MoH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs, and Sheikh Ghanim Dhahir al Bathari, Chairman of Al Baraka Oilfield Services.

The undersecretary stressed the importance of partnerships between the government and private sectors in public interest, and praised Al Baraka Oilfield Services’ initiative that will contribute to enhancing health services in the wilayat.

H E Dr Fatma said that provision of the ambulance is part of a strategic partnership to promote community services and developmental projects.

Bathari informed that the company is looking to contribute and initiate developmental projects and programmes.

At the signing ceremony, Musallam Said al Maashani, CEO of Al Baraka Oilfield Services, said the agreement further strengthens partnership between the government and private sectors.
