Muscat – Winners of the 2022 edition of Oman’s Most Trusted Brand Awards were felicitated at a special ceremony held in Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, on Monday.
The ceremony was held under the auspices of H E Said bin Hamoud al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. The event was attended by Their Highnesses and Excellencies, chairmen, managing directors, CEOs and senior officials of the 50 winning companies.
Senior representatives of the winning companies received the Oman’s Most Trusted Brand Awards trophies from H E Ma’awali and Saleh Zakwani, Executive Chairman of Apex Media.
Oman’s Most Trusted Brand Awards is validation of public trust in certain brands and every year this prestigious award is presented to the most trusted brands in the country by Apex Media.
The awards – which allow the general public and consumers to vote for the favourite brands that they trust the most – were instituted in 2016 to recognise the most trusted and reliable brands in different industries.
The awards are based on the results of a month-long extensive survey open to the general public for voting. The number of participants voting for the awards has been growing consistently every year – from close to 130,000 in 2016 to over 900,000 in 2022. This large voter base highlights the power of consumer perception in determining the level of trust that winning brands enjoy in the Omani market.
