Muscat – The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) appealed to people to donate at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher, on Monday.

A statement issued by DBBS said, ‘We appeal to everyone to donate at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher due to a high demand. All negative blood groups and AB+ blood group are in short supply at the bank. We urge people with the blood types to donate blood in order to meet the demand.”

The blood bank is open from 8am to 8pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 8am to 2pm on Friday.
