Muscat –The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested an African woman on charges of blackmailing a family.

A statement issued by ROP said, ‘The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation arrested a domestic worker of African nationality on charges of blackmailing the family members. The accused blackmailed them after taking pictures of them at home and forcing them to hand over sums of money.

‘Legal procedures have been taken against her,’ it stated.
