Muscat –The Directorate General of Meteorology said on Thursday that a tropical condition in the southeast of the Arabian Sea has developed into a deep tropical depression.
A statement issued by Oman Meteorology said, ‘Latest satellite images show that the tropical condition in the southeast of the Arabian Sea has developed into a deep tropical depression.
‘The wind speed around the centre is estimated at 28-33 knots, with its movement continuing to west/northwest towards the centre of the Arabian Sea. There will be no direct impact on the atmosphere of Oman during the next 72 hours.’
