Muscat – The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) on Thursday has appealed to people to donate urgently due a severe shortage of blood stocks.

A statement issued by DBBS said, ‘We urge blood donors to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank, in Bausher, due to a sharp decrease in the levels of some negative types of blood.

People can donate blood from 8am to 8pm, from Saturday to Thursday, and from 3pm to 8pm on Friday. (Appointments can be made through WhatsApp – 94555648, or by dialing 24591255 or 2494255.)
