Muscat – An inspection campaign related to public health was carried out by Dakhliyah Municipality in shops to ensure adherence to necessary health requirements.

As a result, the civic body issued violations against 13 shops, and destroyed a large quantity of unfit food in the wilayat of Bidbid.

The public health regulations require adherence to some guidelines and requirements for both, service providers and clients. These include disinfection of all surfaces frequently, ensuring of proper ventilation, and provision of appropriate personal protective equipment to each worker/employee.

‘Dakhliyah Municipality reaffirms that it will take the necessary legal procedures in accordance with laws.
