Muscat – Luxury design brand Deema on Wednesday launched its limited edition men’s walking canes, artistically crafting a signature of Oman’s heritage and architecture on each one of them.
The fine jewellery brand launched three designs inspired by Omani heritage and monuments in celebration of the country’s 52nd National Day.
“Our 2023 Men’s Cane Collection is inspired by Oman like all our products. The designs are mainly influenced by Omani heritage and architecture,” said co-founder Suad al Riyami.
“The inspiration behind this collection is the Omani khanjar, the Royal Opera House and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque,” added Shadya al Ismaily, another co-founder of the Deema brand.
The canes are made out of rosewood decorated with silver and precious stones such as sapphire and black onyx studded on them.
“As usual, a modern twist is added to our canes, with special attention to detail, uniqueness, design and fine craftsmanship,” she elaborated.
A second edition of the collection is set to launch in December this year using different materials, alongside matching rings.
The brand launched its first Cane Collection in 2016.
“We believe that men deserve something beautiful as well. There’s plenty for us women, but men have something special too,” Suad explained.
Additionally the brand offers cufflinks and rings.
The Deema brand was founded by mother and daughter duo Shadya al Ismaily and Suad al Riyami in 2008. The fine jewellery brand aimed to adapt traditional Omani designs for the modern women.
The brand later expanded to include linen, chinaware, corporate gifts, large scale abstract paintings and interior design services.
